In the following document will find described the conditions of the warranty that you have to have acquired a new appliance of our brand. These conditions meet all the rights you have under the provisions of the RDL 1/2007 of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, modified by the RDL 7/2021 of April 27and additional duties that FRECAN offers.
Moreover, we are pleased to notice that the warranty conditions that we offer as manufacturers are independent of the rights you have against the seller under the contract of sale of your appliance. Please read this document carefully, and if you have any questions, please contact us.
As manufacturer, FRECAN agrees within 36 months from the date of delivery of the appliance at no charge to you repair any defects in the appliance and any damage it might cause, if they are due to a fault in manufacturing apparatus, or the incorporation of material or faulty component.
Please, if a failure in your appliance is detected, let us know immediately after being discovered so that it can be repaired within the warranty, no later than 15 days since realized the possible defect.
During the warranty period, without charge to you, in case there was an anomaly in the appliance, the Official Service FRECAN would determine which parts should be repaired or replaced with new parts. Also, during the three-year warranty, the charge of displacement required for the repair will be free.
Also, during the warranty, in case of failure of the device you can choose between repair or replacement of the goods, if the option chosen by you is possible and not economically disproportionate. In the event that the device has already been repaired or replaced but it still not present appropriate characteristics, you can request replacement of the appliance or repair it, or even opt to get a reduction of the price paid, or to terminate the contract, all in accordance with the terms established by RDL 1/2007 OF November 16.
In case your appliance is replaced with a new one, the warranty period is temporarily suspended until the delivery of this new device, and you will always have at least 6 months of warranty, but never starting beginning a new 3 year period.
Since FRECAN brand as appliance manufacturer cannot be responsible for certain aspects of your appliance outside our business, there are some breakdowns and damages that cannot be covered by this warranty.
In the instructions manual one can find all recommendations properly explained for installing and using your appliance, and for obtaining maximum performance. Please perform the checking explained there given that, except for an error on our part in this instruction book, any damage caused by improper installation or misuse cannot be picked up by this warranty. For this reason, it is very important to read the instruction book, and if in doubt, call us at +34 937 93 66 44.
This warranty does not include the solution of those faults caused by reasons beyond the design or manufacturing of the device (for example, failure in the power supply), or which are caused by improper use or non-domestic use of the device (as uses in public establishments or professional activities). Also, the warranty does not apply if the defects in the device have been caused by damage during transportation not attributable to the manufacturer (e.g. scratches, dents, broken glass during transport), as well as by incorrect assembly or poor maintenance of the appliance. Similarly, some parts affected by the normal wear of the device such as pipes, tires, filters... are not covered, which wear is part of normal maintenance of the appliance.
Similarly, the warranty is cancelled if repairs are carried out or if the equipment is opened or handled by persons not authorized by the manufacturer; or if they are replaced or additional parts or accessories are used which do not belong to the original manufacturer. The warranty does not apply to any small deviation from the standard product that has only a minor effect on the value or operation of the unit, as well as the damage caused by chemical effects, or electrochemical water, or due to abnormal environmental conditions or malfunction conditions, or if the appliance beyond that, has been in contact with inappropriate substances.
Finally, the warranty is not applicable to fragile parts made of glass, plastic, or light bulbs when their failure or breakage is not due to a manufacturing defect.
To qualify for this warranty is a must prove to the FRECAN Official Service the date of receipt of the device. For this, it is only necessary to show the INVOICE or PURCHASE TICKET, or delivery note in case its date is after the invoice date or ticket.
Keep therefore your invoice or purchase ticket.

These conditions correspond to the minimum warranty offered by the manufacturer and do not interfere with any other warranty you have contracted which may improve these conditions.
